Our Philosophy

Welcome parents,

An introduction of STEAM Academy,

STEAM Academy is a Creative Workshop Laboratory / Home of Activities that is performing as a homeschool with the emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics, but don’t worry, Literacy comes hand in hand in our daily activities too!

It is founded on the belief that every child is different, from the way they learn to the way they explore, they’re inherently creative and questioning and here at STEAM, it’s one of our biggest fulfillment – to embrace, celebrate and respect all of the beautiful diversities that’s happening on a daily basis. When it comes to academic learning, we used a student-centered approach in learning, so we’re able to focus on each student’s needs, abilities, interests, and learning styles. Our day is structured so teachers are able to spend time with students one-on-one or in small groups throughout the day and tailor instruction to each student’s individual learning goals.

STEAM lessons are personally brain-picked and it implements project based and multimodal learning as our primary instructional strategy, with that method we’re able to expose more knowledge and grasp more subjects in a short period of time. By providing and encouraging an exciting “world”, Your tiny human can feel safe in expressing themselves, to express their opinions freely and be encouraged to think and create outside the “box”.

Our program encourages responsibility, self-expression, builds self-esteem, independence and cultivates outstanding, creative individuals.

Our goal is to create our next generation to be inventors, innovators and leaders to

Wonder like a scientist,

Analyze like a technologist,

Invent like an engineer,

Create like an artist,

Decode like a mathematician,

Play like a kid!

“ After a certain high of technical skill is achieved, Science and Art tend to coalesce in Aesthetics, Plasticity and Form. The greatest scientists are always artists as well.”
